Getting an yes to what we said, from a child is the biggest task for any parent, and I am no different.
Thought for a while, as to why I always get a "no" from my child and the final "yes" from him takes lot of logic, persuasion etc.... from my side.
I just observed my own behavior while talking to him, SUDDENLY I discovered he too gets more "no"s from me than "yes" for most of his demands.
An extra scoop of ice cream, an extra hour of play, one more cartoon to watch... all are ending with my disciplined "no"s.
Solution made simple.. I too started saying yes to most of his little demands. Initially he thought there was some catch in my "yes", later understood its genuine.
Now the RESULT: there are less no of "no"s from him. And more important, he listens to me (not only with just ears) and discusses with me.
SOUNDS GOOD... SIMPLE IDEAS TO MAKE LIFE SIMPLE...
