Indifferent is Important

Some people love you so much....ignore them...

Some people hate you so much ... Ignore them...

Some people are indifferent to you.... Take care of them, because your success or failure depends on them either in a job or in business.

There was no mistake in the above sentences. You read them right and your understanding is absolutely right.

Care for those who are indifferent towards you.

In any business there will be a small percentage of people who will love your products and business and will become your best customers.

Also there is a small percentage of people who hate your products or business or even you, irrespective of how good you are or how great your products are. 

It would be disastrous if you get carried away by the behaviour of either of these groups because, they always remain to be a small group.

But majority of people remain indifferent. They don't carry any hard feelings about you.

These people may transact with you once in a while, but then they don't get into the HABIT OF BUYING FROM YOU.

A girl may be more careful in choosing a beauty product than a male deciding on the same.

A mother may be cautious in selecting a baby soap than a person choosing a soap for himself.

An epicurean spends more time on deciding which restaurant to dine in than a casual eater.

Those who have keen interest in your sort of business or products will form their strong opinion. But the majority may not have any opinion or their opinion might not be strong enough to make them loyal to your business.

It's difficult to attract someone who is indifferent. But once it becomes a HABIT,

It would be very difficult to take them away from you.

There are several ways to bring them in your fold, which may be industry dependent in some cases and general in some cases.

YOU CAN'T PAINT ON DIRTY CANVAS

"Chennai Rains" the news reader repeats the news  to show the submerged roads and buildings. It is a cool non-rainy day which was declared as holiday for schools by the district collector at our place, fearing the same scene may get repeated here too.

For the last fifteen days it has become a practice for my children to watch TV news in the morning before they go to school. Not that they became interested in the constitutional debate or developed an interest for what blunder Rahul is going to make today. But it is the message of the met. dept about the possible rain fall and confirmed holiday on account of that, which is more interesting to know.

These unexpected holidays which have an element of surprise which even surpasses that of  a stock broker in the opening hour of stock markets became happiest moments for children across tamilnadu where rain is only expected but never rained. 

Today's holiday made my younger son to test his skills at painting. Half an hour has passed since he decided to give a tough time to MF Hussian paintings. Suddenly a crayon hits the wall with a scream in the back ground. The time has come for me to play the role of a parent cum coach cum pacifier.

I looked at the canvas which was milky white until a few minutes ago now got turned into a color bank displaying each color you can imagine.

" I am not able to apply any new colors on this" complained my son. 

"You can't", I replied. "Because only a white background can display any color properly,not this  paper which has all the colors applied on".

My discussion ended suddenly as the voices on tv increased with the auto decibel increasing facility the television channels got these days. Some one is screaming at the other on an issue related to constitution.

All political parties were started by some visionaries who never bothered about themselves. They devoted their life to the cause of society. They had great ideals. They wished to make the society a better place to live. They worked hard towards achieving their goals.

They had laid down clear principles on which the system is supposed to work. If their ideology was fundamentally wrong or if they had any other dishonest motives, probably they might not have succeeded in creating a nation wide phenomenon.

But what we see now in many of the political or non political organisations is something completely contrary to what it was earlier. They became murky with people leading them becoming opaque in their vision. They became individual centric, creating demi gods. They became instruments to cater personal needs of the leaders and their followers.

What started with a clear canvas and a beautiful picture on it drawn carefully by the original painter became dirty over a period of time.

Each leader who inherited the reins of the organisation tried to apply colors of his choice on the canvas. 

Their shadows covered the original picture and it was lost long ago.

Be it the religion or political party or any other organisation or movement that was brought into existence gets it's basic character covered in many colors over a period of time..

The only way may be, is to undo all these colors and look at the original picture once again to start the journey afresh and make it more purposeful.

Because YOU CAN'T PAINT ON A DIRTY CANVAS...

I am hindu

With a authentic history dating back to more than 5000 years "sanathana dharma" which in recent past is being called as "Hinduism" has come to a condition, where the simple mention of it gets you the label of being a Non secular human being.

It is the religion that has tolerance as base.

It's the religion that never talks about words like faith or belief and asks the seeker to question and seek the truth.

It's the religion that never was called as religion. 

It's the religion that neither had an official God nor a official messenger nor a self proclaimed prophet.

It's the laboratory of truth where each individual can choose his own path or can create his own path.

It's the need of the hour to understand what is Hinduism or Sanathana Dharma as per the Vedas which are the basis of this dharma. 

The Hinduism that we perceive today has nothing to do with the actual sanathana dharma as the fog of perceptions, ideas make it difficult to see what lies behind.

The Vedic system expects the individual to progress and not merely stay on the level of blind faith. The Vedic path does not rely on faith or beliefs alone, but offers the methodologies that a person can use to refine one’s consciousness. Then he or she can personally perceive the higher levels of reality and spiritual truths of which the Vedic instructions speak.

The Vedic process allows full freedom to investigate spiritual matters and for one to ask all the questions that may come to mind, without restrictions or the possibility of being called a doubting person or a blasphemer as you find in other religions. 

The Vedic approach knows that the Absolute can be perceived in different ways, thus the Vedic system accommodates this and allows for the individual to pursue the level of Truth that he or she wants to perceive. The Vedic path also makes no restrictions on our right to use whatever resources we can to help ourselves understand our spiritual nature. This is why Vedic followers can look at any religion and find truth in it. 

The Vedic system also acknowledges that we all have a unique relationship with God, and that this does not depend on the approval of a church, an institution, or a cleric or priest. It is eternal. The Vedic process merely provides the means or methodologies by which we can awaken that relationship and the awareness of our spiritual identity. 

By this approach, we stimulate our own perception of spiritual reality rather than merely being forced to accept a dogma presented by some religious institution. On the other hand, we see the conventional religions of the West. They are often monotheistic constructs that are based primarily on faith, beliefs, and fear. Their faith is often directed toward the idea that if you follow what your church authorities tell you, or what you read in your scripture, you will go to heaven and be “saved.” Belief usually amounts to accepting something that is still beyond your experience. 

And fear in most religions is based on the idea that if you do not follow the tenants of your faith or church, or if you question it, you may find yourself being excommunicated and outcaste from your religion, or even told that you will go to hell. 

Thus, you will have no relationship or connection with God. Fear in this regard is also displayed as a fanatical defense of one’s ideas or religion, that everyone else but you and your clan are going to hell and that you are the only ones who really know the truth. In this way, they allow for little freedom of thought or inquiry, or for the individual to seek out answers to questions that are not described in its scripture. 

Anything that is not included is labeled as either demonic or will lead one to hell. This is what I call being in “The Prison of Religion”.
